Trump seems to be assuming Maduro's VP, currently and conveniently Putin's houseguest, is ready and willing to hand her country's oil back to its "rightful owners". These two, with Trump (not Trump, Rubio, and Stephen Miller), seem to comprise the new Unholy Trinity that Trump invokes when he promises "we" will run Venezuela. So this diversionary incentive, viewed in light of the Venezuelan and Russian consent inferred by Trump, is not likely to expose Trump as a rube when US tankers have as much trouble navigating heavy ship traffic as the Coast Guard vessels trailing Russian tankers?
