This is beautiful and it gives me some hope. It is so easy to be angry and discouraged. I am going to keep this to read over and over--I will need it. Thank you for your eloquence and insight.

Dino, thank you for writing about gentleness and beauty. I find myself at times ready to snap because of all the selfishness and hatred in this world. You write: "Do not let your ache make you bitter." There are times where I feel close to doing just that. But your writing touched me deeply and the softness with which you wrote soothed my soul. For this I am grateful. Thank you.

Kristie, your pleasure is a gift. Thank you. I was recently having a conversation about what we all write about. My conclusion was that there are enough people writing about evil, hate, and anger. Yet, not enough writing about hope, and goodness, and humanity. I will focus more on the latter.

There is so much power in gentleness, especially in a world that seems to have forgotten what gentleness even is.

Yes, we need so much more of this positive, beautiful writing to encourage us while we're bombarded daily with "one more thing" of negativity from the vile and evil issues that confront us daily. Often your writings are deep but then you seem to have a way of bringing in beauty, warmth, hope & encouragement to take us beyond the stark realities with a "gentle" stroke of your pen (keyboard).

Once again, you leave me in awe & I agree with all the comments thus far that I need this now & will in the future because the daily brink of crisis of our country's Constitution is so uncertain & the state of democracy alarming & WE need to remember the vivid images & grace your image shows & your words amplify! Another keepsake to save & return to - thank you, Dino!
