What about green card holders? Do the same “rules” as for US citizens apply to them?
Generally speaking, the only difference between the rights of lawful permanent resident and a citizen involve the right to vote. Having said that, their is legal president—no matter how rarely enacted—where an I-551 (green card) may be revoked.
